UI for Stack Overview

Stack Overview provides a high‑level summary of your deployed resources, grouped by service with key configuration details. Drill into identifiers, endpoints, and resources in a click—perfect for understanding your local cloud architecture at a glance.

Open the Overview to visualize your locally running cloud app architecture and quickly jump into details when you need them.

Status page UI

The Status page gives you a clear, real‑time view of active services in your instance—see what’s running, what you’ve interacted with, and where to focus next.

UI for IAM Policy Stream

IAM Policy Stream helps you discover the exact permissions your AWS API calls requires, so you can tighten IAM policies with confidence. In the Desktop App, you’ll find:

  • A live stream of API calls with the specific policies each call generates
  • A real‑time summary policy that consolidates individual statements into a single policy
  • A toggle to enable/disable the stream on the fly for performance tuning
  • A reset action to clear the stream and start fresh

UI for Chaos Engineering

Chaos Engineering in LocalStack helps you harden your applications by safely introducing controlled failures. Simulate server errors, service outages, regional disruptions, and network latency to validate graceful degradation and recovery.

Under the hood, the dashboard uses the LocalStack Chaos API and offers customizable templates that you can plug into local runs or automation workflows.
